The Generalitat Valencia relies on the footwear sector to develop its Reindustrialization Plan.
● Industry advances in the preparation of the Reindustrialization Plan through the Footwear and Toy sector tables.
● The regional secretary of Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs presides in Elche and Ibi over the footwear and toy sector tables with the participation of the main social agents.
● Felipe Carrasco stated that “the Valencian Government has opted to increase the budget allocated to the industrial modernization of SMEs by 10,7%”.
Meeting of the Footwear Sector Board.
Yesterday, the meeting of the Footwear Sector Board took place at the AVECAL headquarters, made up of the Employers' Associations AVECAL, AEC and the Technological Institutes of the sector INESCOP, IBV and ITE, to analyze, together with the sectoral representatives of the board, the plan. Valencian industrial strategic plan, with the aim of proposing the roadmap for the next 4 years.
During the meeting, various lines of work were proposed that come together in the new sectoral plan, aimed at achieving a higher level of company participation and promoting industry, internationalization, entrepreneurship, innovation and energy management.
